Vineyard Estate-grown at Te Muna on elevated river-bed soils over large limestone boulders — stony, low-fertility ground with a notable mineral element. Planted predominantly to Pinot Noir vines over 20 years old across a number of clones.
Wine A very expressive bouquet laced with soil, mineral, and ripe red fruit aromas from cherry to plum to blackcurrant — youthful and alluring. The palate is dry and medium-bodied with a tight structure, firm tannins, and medium-plus acidity, built for further development.
